Mustang Public Schools officials have announced several sports schedule changes due to the recent winter storm.
Mustang High School’s varsity wrestling dual set for Thursday, Feb. 4 has been cancelled. Tuttle must make up a district match that was postponed due to the recent bad weather.
Mustang’s Canadian County Bedlam dual versus Yukon was postponed for the second time on Monday, Feb. 1, due to the winter storm. That dual will not be rescheduled, athletic department officials said.
Mustang’s varsity basketball games at Choctaw, originally scheduled for Jan. 29, will be played on Saturday, Feb. 13. The JV girls will play at noon, followed by the JV boys at 1:15 p.m., the varsity girls at 2:30 p.m. and the varsity boys at 4 p.m.
MHS sophomore basketball games scheduled for Feb. 13, 2010 versus Putnam City West have been cancelled.
Mustang’s varsity homecoming basketball games will be played on Monday, Feb. 8. The JV girls game will begin at 4 p.m., followed by the JV boys at 5:15 p.m., the varsity girls at 6:30 p.m. and the varsity boys at 8 p.m.
Homecoming festivities will be held at halftime of the varsity boys game.
Mustang Middle School’s varsity basketball games versus Edmond Summit, originally scheduled for Feb. 1, will be played on Thursday, Feb. 4. The 7th-grade girls will play at 4:30 p.m., followed by the 7th-grade boys at 5:30 p.m., the 8th-grade girls at 6:30 p.m. and the 8th-grade boys at 7:30 p.m.
